Policies and Requirements

Rules and Reminders

Attention when booking a boarding stay. Please inform our staff if your pet participates in daycare, boarding and or grooming at another facility. If so, they will not be allowed on our premises for a minimum of two weeks. We want to keep all of our furry friends safe and healthy during their stay with us which is why this screening process is important. This also includes visiting your veterinary office. DO NOT get your pet’s vaccines updated the day of drop off! Please do this 14 days prior to their reservation. If owners do not adhere to this policy your pet will be denied entrance into the Ranch. Any questions please contact our office. Thank you

  • All dogs must be leashed upon entering and exiting the building. NO retractable leashes allowed for dogs over 30lbs and all harnesses are welcome. All harness and collars will be removed once your dog/s arrive to their reserved room.
  • Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations are required. A negative fecal exam must be obtained for puppies who are less than 6 months of age along with completion of all Distemper boosters, the Rabies vaccine, and the Bordetella vaccine. A Heartworm and Flea/Tick preventative is strongly recommended. All vaccinations will need to be updated 14 days prior to their stay. Please do not wait until the last minute to get your pet’s vaccines updated, this will result in your reservation being canceled.
  • All kibble shall be separated individually (per meal), to ensure that enough food is provided for the duration of your pet’s stay. If ALL feedings are not bagged, our staff will bag the food and this will result in a charge of $2 per meal per pet. This does NOT apply for canned or wet food. If your pet free feeds, please inform us of that information during your booking process so we can give you further instructions.
  • Please feed your pet breakfast prior to dropping off.
  • To help us keep our kennel and office space clean, please ensure that your pet has used the bathroom in the approved areas prior to entering our facility.
  • Please inform your emergency contact, or approved persons, to arrange pick up if you are unable to pick up before our office is closed. If there is an emergency and you will be unable to make it by 3pm, PLEASE inform us so we can make arrangements.
  • Any and all questions, please reach out to us by phone. You can leave a message and we will reach back to you as soon as possible. If you are an existing client you can also text our business number.
  • It is not uncommon for your pet(s) to develop an upset stomach while boarding. It can be related to anxiousness and/or and environmental change. This can even happen once your pet(s) have returned home. Always inform us with any issues. Diarrhea or loose stool are common 48-72 hours after returning home.
